State Cup 2012 The draw for the State Cup for Thornton Redbacks was released yesterday and we have been drawn to play the NBN defending champions Broadmeadow Magic. The match will be played at Wanders Oval on Saturday 10th March at 3.30PM. This match will be a good measure to the work put in by all and we will no doubt be there to try and upset Magic on the day. Could this be a look into the future, when we may see Magic vs Redbacks in the NBN League. We dare to dream!!!!
2012 NEWFM First Division Trial this Sunday 5th February , vs Plattsburg Marylands....... This weekends trial is against Plattsburg at Tomago Oval on Sunday 5th February. The Under 19s are kicking off at 2.00PM Sunday, and the Under 23s players will be kicking off at 3.30PM, followed by 1st Grade at 5.00PM. The sides are on the web now and if you are unavailable to play on Sunday, please contact Mark for U/19s and Nev for Senior players. We would expect all to be available. Please be at the game no later than 1 hour
prior to kick off.
