Preseason trials locked in.................

Thornton Redbacks FC have locked in various preseason trials to prepare us for the coming season. These trials include some of the ZPL sides we played last season as well as Port United at Port Macquarie and Weston Bears on March 5th.

The new fence will begin construction shortly at Thornton Oval and we envisage will take approximately 1 week to complete.

This season all registrations will be done online, so you will need to listen to Mick Hurn with respect of what to do.

On Sunday 22nd January 2012 we will begin the first of the trial matches with an Inter Club trial. This math will kick off at 5PM and all players need to arrive by no later than 4PM.

Wallsend Trial Cancelled this Sunday 29th January, but an Inter Club match will still be played.......

Wallsend have been unable to fill teams for this weekends Sunday 29th January trial match and as a result we will be holding another Interclub Trial at Tomago on Sunday 29th January for the senior players.

The Under 19s are playing a match with Dungog at 1.30PM Sunday, and the Senior players will be split into two sides on the day for a 3PM Kick Off. The sides are on the web now and if you are unavailable to play on Sunday, please contact Mark for U/19s and Nev for Senior players. We would expect all to be available.

Please be at the game no later than 1 hour prior to kick off.

All other matches are confirmed and are as the draw in on the web.

As you are aware, there has been a change of coaching staff and a change of attitude towards training. To succeed be prepared to work hard.
